  PERFORMANCE CONSULTATIONS:

By utilizing visualization, there exists a tremendous opportunity to significantly improve one's performance. Committing to a planned program and using the below techniques, athletes will be able to obtain "maximum mileage" from their natural abilities and talents.

Essentially there are three objectives in order to accomplish this:

1. Determine what it is we wish to visualize.

I will work with the player enabling him/her to become so adept with my method that optimum performance will occur when actually performing the athletic endeavor (i.e. could be goal tending, scoring, foul shooting, golf swing, blocking, passing, kicking, batting, pitching, various tennis strokes, etc.). The athlete focuses on execution, not results. He/she is taught to play with an aggressive, rather than an avoidance mindset.  The concept that evolves is not to worry about the past, but to focus on the present and to concentrate on what one can control.

2. Develop a trigger for the player that increases focus/concentration.

I will work to obtain a level of intensified sustained focus, enabling the athlete to eliminate distractions, negative thoughts, and fight through fatigue, etc. (sort of putting oneself in the “zone”).

3. Utilize imagery for the players to see themselves successfully completing and winning in whatever competitions they are participating in.

It has been shown that many athletes who are able to visualize success are better able to reach their desired performance in actual competition.
